DETERMINE FOUNDATION COLOR

Paint a line of foundation about 1 inch long across the lower jaw line and see which blends in the best. Foundation isn’t meant to give color to the skin. Match exact. Mix colors for harder to match skin tones.

• Fair

• Light

• Medium

• Beige

• Medium Tan

• Tan

• Dark

• Ebony

FOUNDATION APPLICATION

• Foundation is not meant to add color to your skin. Must match exact. Color comes from blush, bronzer, eye shadows, lipsticks.

• Apply with small kabuki brush

• Swirl, Tap off, Apply – Small circles all over the face working outside to inside

CONCEALER

• Apply foundation with small brush

• Hide flaws – blemishes, scars, birthmarks, under eye circles (don’t go beyond pupils/too far), inside of eyes in half moon shape

BRONZER

• Apply with angled blush brush

• Apply across check bone, temples, bridge of nose, chin to add color and warmth to skin tone

• Adds hint of color, warmth and healthy glow to skin

BLUSH

• Apply very small amount with angled blush brush to apple of cheeks lightly

 FINISHING POWDER

• Apply with large round brush

• Reduces large pores, eliminates shine, gives airbrush look

• Apply lightly dusting over face to set the makeup

EYE APPLICATION

          Lisa Liddiards’s “7” Eye Technique

BASE EYE COLOR: Apply small round brush. Apply eye shadow color (same color as eye lid skin tone) to cover entire lid, eye lashes and under lower lash to hide discoloration.

CREASE: Apply with small round crease brush. Apply darkest eye shadow color to the crease making a 7 to outer corner of eyes. Start at crease equal to the pupil, stroke up/out to the lash line, drag down to connect with outer lash line. Make 7 prevents droopy eye and lifts.

CREASE OVERLAY: Apply with small round brush. Apply medium eye shadow color to soften crease

LID – Apply small round brush. Apply lightest eye shadow color to the inside half of lid. Start at the pupil, brushing in towards nose.

HIGHLIGHT BROW BONE: Highlight brow bone with lightest eye shadow color under brow and connect to crease to blend together.

STARLIGHT EFFECT: Apply with small round brush. Using very light sparkle or frost eye shadow color in a vertical line at the very middle of eyelid and blend lightly

INNER CORNER – Apply small dot inside inner corner of each eye

BLEND: Blend all shadows together if needed

EYE LINER

• Apply with lip brush

• Apply eye shadow over eye pencil. Flip up at end

Apply dry or get your brush wet and apply your eye shadow as a liquid liner

MASCARA

• Apply with disposable mascara brush – No double dipping.

• Apply mascara to top first, thicker application on outer corner lashes. Apply what’s left on brush to lower lashes

• Can apply black eye shadow to bottom lashes lightly if desired

LIPS

 LIPSTICK

• Use disposable spatula to ‘chunk off’ tiny bit of lipstick and give to each guest on back of hand

• Apply with lip brush

LIP GLOSS

• Use q-tip and dip in container and give to each guest

• Apply with lip brush

• Use alone or over lipstick. Great for highlighting lips

Remember, you can use your blush and eye shadows as lip colors and vice versa.  I use my eye shadows for lip color and have a blast.  Anything goes with Mineral Makeup.

See you on the inside!
